Author: Canada Top Online Casino Djokovic Hopeful He Can Compete at US Open Despite COVID-19 Rules Novak Djokovic is hopeful that he will be able to compete at the upcoming US Open, despite the current COVID-19 rules. Djokovic, who has three US Open titles, says that he is preparing as if he will be allowed to compete. However, he is waiting for confirmation on whether or not he will be able to travel to New York for the August 29-September 11 tournament. Fingers crossed!

No matter what the outcome, it’s great to see Djokovic staying positive and continuing to prepare for the tournament. We’ll be rooting for him!

Djokovic won the Australian Open, French Open and Wimbledon titles last year but was unable to defend his Melbourne Park crown this year after being deported from Australia over his vaccination status in January.

More than 43,000 people have signed an online petition calling for the United States Tennis Association (USTA) to work with the US government to allow 21-time major champion Djokovic to compete in the US Open.

The Serbian later said he was prepared to miss Grand Slam tournaments rather than take the COVID-19 vaccine.

Do you think the USTA will make an exception for Djokovic? It’s hard to say, but stranger things have happened.
